Applications are now being taken from bands who wish to take part in Permission to Rock on Friday 2nd July at St Nicholas Centre, Ipswich.

Now in its seventh year we are looking for young bands who would like the opportunity to play their own music in front of a live audience. The majority of band members must be aged 18yrs or under but it doesn’t matter if you’ve been together for 3 months or 3 years as long as you have a passion for your music and can whip up an audience! Previous years have been a sell out and some of the bands have gone on to perform at Ipswich Music Day.

So whether your music is funk, punk, indie or metal why not apply. It could be the start of something…
